Spring is a time of change and renewal, and here we go again…
We have seen a lot of changes in our world since March of 2020, when the Covid pandemic began. Atelier has been able to ‘roll with the punches’, with the help of our amazing team and our much-appreciated customers. Another source of great help to us has been Santana Row, who allowed us to turn a vacant office space next door to Atelier Studio into The Annex, where we built a makeshift salon so we could keep our stylists employed during the reduced occupancy and social distanced months and to continue to take beautiful care of our clients. We are so appreciative of their support and are so grateful to be one of the original tenants at such a special place. This coming November we will celebrate 20 years at “The Row”!
Now, 19 months after we moved into The Annex, it’s time to return the space to Santana Row so they can allow the waiting tenant to build out their business.
We have made updates to Atelier Studio to be ready for this merge of our team:

- All stations will remain at least 6’ apart
- We will continue to have plexiglass partitions in between stations and shampoo lounges
- All sanitation and sterilization protocols will continue
- Masks will still be available to anyone who wishes to wear one, and your stylist will wear one if you would like…just ask
- Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the salon
- Front desk plexiscreens will remain in place
- HEPA filtration air purifying recirculators will run during business hours
It’s hard to imagine that we can blend all of our stylists into one space, but with our stylists on flexible schedules and/or reduced schedules due to family requirements, everyone fits in very nicely, and it feels very spacious.
We have appreciated everyone’s flexibility and understanding throughout the unexpected changes the pandemic has inflicted on all of us. We have done a lot of pivoting to keep our doors open, and we are here to stay…for our Atelier family and for you!
Please note that if your future appointment is on May 16 or later, you’ll be at Atelier Studio.
Our salon spaces are for guests with appointments only. If you have visitors with you, please invite them to enjoy Santana Row. There are many lovely areas to explore. Text them when your appointment is finished so they can meet you afterwards.
