Education: Graduated from Yerba Buena High School & attended The National Hispanic University
What makes me awesome? I ALWAYS look at the bright side of things, no matter the situation and I run with it because things could always be worse.
Previous jobs: Went from being a secretary to working at a craft store (Beverly’s in San Jose) to my last job before working at Atelier as a teacher’s assistant for kindergarten classes at Escuela Popular in San Jose…Hats down to all teachers its no easy career.
My guiltiest pleasure: Kids in bed, husband and I on couch–Netflix and junk food night. We talk about our day, make future plans that we might not keep but still have hope for. We never miss a week.
Were you voted best anything in High School? In high school I was voted “Best Smile”… GO Yerba Buena High School – Class Of 2002!!!
If I could choose another career: I would be a fashion designer. I love clothes and I love to think outside the box.
Who is your favorite person to follow on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram? Why? I do NOT have a Twitter/Facebook/Instagram…seriously I don’t have any of them.
If you were going to be on a reality show, which would you choose? Do you think you could win? If I could be in a reality show it would be “Wipe Out” and I would soooo win…not.
The best lesson I’ve learned from a stranger: To not forget I was a kid once and that sometimes your kids just want you to act like a kid and play in the dirt with them. The same way you wanted your parents to do with you even if it was for only ten minutes.
The most daring thing I’ve ever done:
1. Getting married at 19 years old
2. Having kids…It was nothing close to easy but four kids and ten years of marriage we’re still here. We’ll see what else the future holds, because “Life Is like a Box Of Chocolates. You Never Know What Your Going To Get”
